Meet Sabrina A. Falquier, MD, CCMS, DipABLM
Founder and Owner of Sensations Salud®
Dr. Sabrina A. Falquier (pronounced Fall-Key-Ay) loves delicious food—and believes it can change lives. She is a triple board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, Culinary Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine.
Born and raised in Mexico City to Swiss and American parents, she brings a multilingual and multicultural perspective to the intersections of food, culture, and health.
She worked for more than 15 years as a primary care physician in San Diego, and for almost a decade has integrated both Culinary and Lifestyle Medicine into her work.
Today, she teaches and consults across academic institutions, community organizations, teaching kitchens, and partners in the food and agriculture sectors—always with the goal of making evidence-based nutrition and cooking accessible, joyful, and culturally relevant. Her work centers on empowering individuals and communities to make meaningful changes through the foods they choose, prepare, and share.
She also hosts two bilingual podcasts—Culinary Medicine Recipe (English) and Medicina Culinaria (Spanish)—and contributes regularly to media, including Edible San Diego, where in 2025 she received a San Diego Press Club Excellence in Journalism Award. Dr. Falquier is recognized internationally as a physician, educator, and advocate dedicated to reimagining food as a foundation for health, connection, and equity.
